this is one of the rare times me and jefferson went out on an outing. last time we were at bugis, we saw that there was also an outlet of everything with fries. now we're there to try it.
the male waiter revealed tat this outlet at bugis is a restaurant concept whereas the one at somerset is a fastfood concept. interesting.. this point will be developed later.
at one glance, the place is indeed quite atas, more atas than the one at somerset. the female waiter led us to a table for two. their menu was exceptional big, as in the physical paper is big. they also had a piece of paper placed on the table. me and jefferson spare no time in vandalising it while waiting for food to be served.
jefferson ordered this and i ordered that.
all i rmb was that the food tasted nice. ^^
just because they didnt give any chili sauce, jefferson conveniently took a bottle from the nearby tray. you can see the waiters' expression when they walk past and see.. eh where's the chili sauce.. one of them even put another bottle there to replace the missing one.

part2 has a very mysterious beginning as jefferson is led by me into some random place.. to buy koi. apparently everybody decided it was a good idea to buy at that time. there were about 20+ ppl in from of me in the queue.
becos suddenly it started to rain, it was wiser to stay indoors (you don't say)
even though it was only my 2nd time in bugis+, the place was quite intriguing. maybe becos it's quite different from jurong point. there was a shop there had like free flow of gong cha lol.
and jefferson had opportunity to take picture in/outside an arcade.
first time see a claw machine for ice cream, potato chips and pokka biscuit sticks! cute hor

bugis+ is indeed a mysterious place to be. but we had to leave lol. so the heavy rain had stopped and we journey through the streets to bugis street lol.
challenge: to complete the below objective(s) to get 2 points by 1800hrs
- buy black shirt (1pt)
- buy long sleeve shirt (1pt)
- buy hoodie (1pt)
- buy some chinese cup (1pt)
- buy panda hat (1pt)
- buy the purple chicken shirt (2pts)
result of forfeit: buy the purple chicken shirt
after walking round and round the place for quite some place, playing with the specs, laughing at the existence of a newly established food court and again trying to navigate up/down the floors, jefferson did not pick any black shirts -.-ll
as the saying goes, one does not simply eat chicken rice in the morning. and also always wear white shirts.
in jefferson's desperate attempt to not buy the purple chicken shirt, he suka suka go to random stalls and anyhow pick some black shirts. but at least he succeeded.
despite jefferson's insistence to buy white shirts, somehow a darker part of him enjoyed the idea of buying black shirts. and true enough, he was raging through stacks and stacks of black shirts, until he finally bought one.
bloody hell, so drama for wad
it's not as if the shirt only got purple colour?
**random amendment: i nvr did saw jefferson wear the black shirt even after wearing it.
anyways..
nvm even though i thought the purple shirt was kinda cute, i think i'll give it a pass. i actually didnt want to buy back anything back home that day.
kk after walking for so long, legs tired liao. so let's go library rest! you can't just go the national library and not play with the elevator.

jefferson wanted to take the picture of the flyer against the backdrop of the city, but to get a somewhat clear shot, one must be thick skinned enough to go past the table of muggers.
kinda weird sia if you're studying and some thick skinned guy just pretending nothing happened happily taking pictures.
after sufficient rest, we headed back to bugis with nothing much on actually just walk walk around cos neither of us was really hungry. jefferson actually wanted to eat some dessert at some super whimsical outdoor dessert stall which i quickly declined. it was noted that Jefferson seems disappointed.
back inside the shopping centre, i found this super cute cat plushie. after playing it for a while, i decided to buy it, in other words break the rule i had set lols.
but the cat really is very cute sia
