ok so im supposed to be 87% lucky. let me list out all the incidents tat are considered lucky, or as some people i know of [actually one person only] like to describe as auspicious.

1. woke up on time [3am actually -.-]

2. missed 242 bus. BUT boarded the 243 which actually reached the bus interchange earlier than the 242 bus!! LOL

3. bought candy in NTUC and person in front of me carrying a basket full of stuff let me in front of the queue. thx!! =D

4. missed the MRT.. Zzz but got bit of time to write half a summary. and cont to write summary till CCK station.

5. was not called out by any teachers to help cos the mic too soft and projector got problem. lol wad did Mr Lim do to the mic in the morning lecture.. this new projector + patch panel sibei problematic sia.

6. went canteen to eat seaweed chicken. ^^

just a [very] short post before going out later to ahma house again. lol even national day got family gathering. so far i finished the correlation tutorial and am halfway through doing the organic lecture paper, which has 21 long questions Zzz.. so tats all i did for fri and ytd. unproductive ya? hope today can get some work done. i think maybe just do selective qns in the set of maths paper - need to guess which are the qn teacher going thru -.-

have you seen yourself clearly into a mirror lately? i know i have. cos i shaved. is that part of growing up? what does it actually mean to grow up? i wonder why people want to grow up so fast. i want to cling on to my memories. memories of joy in my pri sch which passed by too fast. i regret not doing anything much in sec sch. i really love my JC life. i love my college. my teachers [ok cancel richards]. my frens. my cca mates. my favourite spot in the cafe. how could i not? i spend more time in sch than at home. the sch is whr i have fun, laughing out loud and spamming random catchphrases. today i was in the same bus as my jc2 classmate, my sec4 classmate and my pri6 classmate. ppl change too much and too fast. my thoughts are getting more and more random and difficult to manifest in text..

maybe one should really appreciate the availability of seats in the MRT cos at the peak hours, you should be happy at the fact that you still have some space to stand. since i hvnt taken the train at peak hours for such a long time, along with the morning sun shining through the windows of the train, it was getting very unbearable to be in the train..

since we didnt know which direction to travel, the 3 people with me and myself had no choice but to wait for another friend to pick us up. so much for going to tiong bahru to take bus to walk for 5mins. though we were supposed late, it did not result in any consequence. anyway CMPB had this very small but deep locker to keep our handphones. and then began the medical testing.

- lol i was reading the instructions on the door and then it opened and a guy came out and said

"just go in and pee la"

- lol my urine spilled out of the container

- but i got the stick dipped anyway

- lol i think the other guy filled the container full cos he was like "oh f---!"

- woah this station is the most fun one

- though the medic sitting there was supposed to be distracting me from the blood collection, he was talking to the other medic who was supposed to be distracting the other enlistee!!

- anyway i enjoyed[?] looking at the blood collection!! ^^ omg it was damn nice [huh?]

ok la maybe as a bio student, i appreciate such things better than others.

- i still have a question: why did they take 1 vial of blood from penghau and weikeng, 2 vials of blood from binghan and jefferson, but only took 1.5 vial of blood from me!! so random~

- lol despite gab saying it's quite painful, i dun really think it is. i just thought there was a minor acute sensation and then no more liao. just see the crimson coloured liquid flow inside to the vial..

- so maybe there's pain, but it's definitely worth it LOL

so after tat i come home to slack lol. anyway my dish in cafe world hasnt expired yet! then tried to complete some of the maple quests. had dinner and is busy typing his post.

so if my schedule is still on, tml i will go to the library to do work. maybe CLT? and then eat the dark chocolate ^^ i probably should start doing PQ

so on sunday i'll do chem planning qns.

since the checkup has already ended, the countdown timer is acting as a stopwatch now, counting the time passed since 9am this morning. i'll change it if i got any other events to countdown towards

Longg Weekend

im already starting to write this post before i reached home. rather than just looking outside the window, i thought of writing a post earlier. here's the content of this post:

must have misplaced the organic planning question paper. instead of paying attention, i was just daydreaming in lecture. so probably missed quite a lot of content and some of the jokes. next week, the cohort is going to be split up for banded lecture, which suddenly struck to me - wads the lecture going to be on? my chem grade D got me into band 2 lecture at LT4, which is the same as warren? and hopefully can get a good seat to sleep in~

omg i just passed phys paper2! which is just ard my expectations. wonder why my paper2 so chui. after the 1M for the 12M planning question, my worse question was qn2 oscillations. phys hasnt announced plans for banding yet, not until nuclear physics is over.

anyway ms tan was not disappointed with the phys results. so maybe it was a difficult paper? seriously la.. so cham! today ms cheng [and richards =D] nvr come >.<>

and almost the entire class went home and didnt stay till 3pm

waited quite some time before getting back geog results. jefferson MUST BE quite happy tat he got a better grade than last time. and though penghau did one less question, i only got 1M higher for the overall score!! [in other words, his other sections not bad] ok fine it's actually because my other sections very lousy. wah if even jefferson can get higher than me, warren got chance to pass geog already!!

ok tml no sch cos need to go NS checkup.. regardless of tat, there's still alot of homework:

Comdey & Tragedy

the title of this post is by far the most appropriate one amongst all the others. this was the feeling i was carrying today. laughter and perhaps not sadness but more of disappointment. since the passing of today, i had almost gotten back all of my exam papers. wads left is only geog and phys p2. and i just cant stop having this feeling of not doing well enough. perhaps i was too COMPLACENT. anyway, i'll carry on the post 1st.

i only got to check my luck percentage on facebook after i reached home at about 3.30pm. according to facebook, im supposed 81% lucky. wadever tat meant, i felt it wasnt really very accurate in the sense i didnt think today was worth such a high score.

this morning was the time i had finally cut my fingernails. -.-

took me like 10mins, given the large amount of keratin i had to trim off. after trimming the nail plate, i suddenly feel the hyponychium feeling very sensitive. it's probably due to it being too protected for such a long time and i never got to expose it. it feels good to have short nail plates. though i prefer having long nail plates haha

physics physics. im grateful [dun noe to who or what] for having passed phys p3. i really tot i couldnt make it. if i counted correctly, i have around 4M worth of error carried forward. did i study for this paper? i only did the revision package partially. perhaps tat helped me. but i think i was lucky thistime round. if my calculations are correct, i need ard 80% for paper2 for overall A grade, which in this case is not possible!! instead, i'll probably get 50/72 which is ard 69% which contributes to overall grade of B.

skip GP 1st.

after ms tan went through the hydro part for hydro, many people including me realised they had not really answered wad the questions were asking for. the hydro students really suck at global. the urban people really suck at litho =P

it was quite stupid when people passed physical geog but failed when the global component was added to it. now it just makes me wonder why there was a need for physical and human geog..

note to self: helicoidal flow cannot be seen.

random: i suddenly thought of the word Euclidean Space. ok tats really random.

CHEM. paper3 was shit la.. so many careless and the stupid graph also plot wrong..

and the organic, *facepalm*

hvnt really looked into paper2 yet. shld be more careless mistakes again.

i'll give a brief SUMMARY of wad happened for summary. basically jefferson wrote 60 more words than me and got half a mark more. perhaps i should go check his blog to see if he complains [which i hope he does. lol]. and the rest of the qn were like shit la as usual. this time i managed to get some marks for vocab. not bad. 23/50

stupid essay. why must our class' scripts be marked by a strict marker?!! so unfair!! perhaps i could have gotten 20? which is like looked so much nicer than my pathetic 18? wadever the case is, im sure richards is not gonna let me off this easily, esp with the consultation thing @_@

well tats all. i shld probably start doing some of my long-overdued work. perhaps then i'll get better grades than these!!

The Weekend

i had woke up early at 8am. probably it's because i slept early ytd at 11pm. lol actually the only reason i wanted to sleep was because it was getting very very sian to copy over the GP notebook. my previous one was almost used up and besides it contained some of my most illegible handwriting, not to mention being home to some of my random doodles and also had some maths, chem, phys rough working =P i seriously need a new one, though it probably wont help me in getting a better grade..

well that was yesterday. today i need to at least finish the notes on Science and bioethics. and also need to do corrections for MYE chem and physics paper1. been trying to reduce the time for gaming. and i also had the realisation that im running out of games to play. which is good!! cos then i would most likely be studying. i must get better grades for prelim.

ok rephrase: i must study for prelim.

this june holidays was like last year, all the time wasted on gaming. the only studying was only a few days before the actual exam. memorising giant paragraphs of hydro notes within such a short time was horrible @_@ even worse then O'lvl bio.

i knew i couldnt get an A for maths..

would it have helped if i studied for maths? i never really studied for maths.. i didnt even bother just reading notes. maybe stats could have practiced more. and i didnt bother to actually practice my weaker topics.. just went into the exam hall.. do the questions.. come out thinking GG..

i wouldnt actually say stats pulled me down.. COS IF I STUDIED!!...

i really should study.. to get an A instead of just 69%

today was a waste of time in school, at least for 3hrs when GP paper was gone through. i only listened to a bit on the part of the most popular question done, which is also the question i did. can i pass my essay? probably not.. my the lecturer did say paper2 was quite well done [generally. at least for page1]. i got this from Ivan Lim:

when did i buy it? during the time ivan lim was going through paper1, i went down to the canteen and bought it. lol i saw other j2s also in the canteen hangin' out. with an unaware mr koh also in the canteen with the other PE teachers having break time.

the alumni sharing was pretty funny. and they were right and wrong on one point. they said "i was once sitting down there and i forgotten wad the previous alumni had said" and now while im typing this post, i realised oh ya! i forget everything! [except the part when they said ppl will forget everything]. didnt noe ms leong's voice was so appreciated =P

and i learnt tat it's useless to READ pages of integration notes and hope/pray/[insert verb] tat one will score well. and for quantum, just take it as it is, dun ask why =P and smoke your way through geog.

Reaching The End

actually i didnt sleep early not because of too much caffeine. it's actually because i was waiting for my dish to cook in cafe world LOL. i went to bed without doing any revision, thinking tml is gonna be another sian day for me. turns out today turned out quite lucky [acc to fb 33%]

actually i got up still quite awake. made another cup of coffee, which tasted slightly less nice than the last cup i made. maybe need more coffee powder? lol. im still experimenting to make the cup of coffee i like.

keep having the same songs replaying on my phone. should really find some other songs. i always forgot which are the "old" songs tat i wanted to find..

today the 180 bus is more ulu than usual. when i alighted phoenix station bus-stop, there was like less than 5 passengers inside. maybe all decided to walk due to increase in fare prices?

while flipping through my chem notebook, i realised tat some of the info were wrong!! XP

it was a great relieve to find out tat today's paper is more as bad as paper3.

paper1 organic harder than usual. physical equally hard? lol maybe because too noob in it liao.

paper2 was definitely easier than paper3!! when i looked at the qns tat need to draw oxoanion of phosphorus, i was like GG. forgot to study tat part. apparently P will expand its octet configuration by excitation of vacant low lying orbitals << solution =" electrolysis" molecule =".="">

the planning qns was screwed.

i was rushing to finish the paper from 10.30am onwards. finished the paper [with some blanks] at 10.59am and was waiting for the examiner to say time's up or sth. i found out the paper is ending at 11.30am =.=!! therefore i had half an hour left to fill in the blanks with random answers. took some time to draw the stupid phosphorus anion and concluded it was bent shape. LOL.

completed the planning qn, which by the way was investigating rate of reaction by gas collection.

did i forget to mention anything significant?

ok so tats the end of chem mid year exams. phew~

so tml is physics paper. should probably study. after a nap lasting 2hrs.

was supposedly meeting Azmira to study but then she and i both very tired [now tat i think of it, why she tired sia? today she no sch!!] so in the end, i had a good [long?] sleep Zzz~

woke up unceremoniously. no, i didnt knock into my wardrobe.

paper starts at 2pm and i woke up at 8.30am with lots of slacking time in between

lol rmb it rained last year on the day of maths midyr paper.

was it a conspiracy by the sch to arrange consecutive buses to arrive at the bus-stop outside school after exam had ended?

before any of the buses came, the bus-stop was so full that people were standing outside.

when the 1st bus came, people started rushing to the door.

then halfway through the boarding, another bus came.

immediately, half the queue went to flag for the 2nd bus.

then came another bus

and another bus

and YET another bus

and came the final bus which me and jefferson board. hm let's see. 20 seats choose 1.
