Pre-enlistment Documentation

Medical Examination
Thank you for e-registration on 13-Apr-2010. You have booked your medical appointment on 16-Jul-2010 at 0900hrs.

  • Please report in PT attire(T-Shirt & Shorts) for your appointment with the following documents:

    1. National Registration Identity Card
    2. Medical reports, hospital appointment cards, X-Ray films and School Health Booklet
    3. Medical Screening Questionnaire duly signed by your parents or guardian
    4. Original and photocopy of all Educational Certificate(Private or Overseas Courses only)

  • After your medical examination you will be required to go through a Vocational Assessment:
    1. Vocational Assessment is done using a battery of tests called the Manpower Aptitude Assessment System (MAPAS) to assess your mental abilities. This is so that we can maximize our limited manpower by putting people where their abilities can be best used.

      Your Vocational Assessment scores will affect important decisions, which include assignment to a vocation and selection to be a commander (Officer, Specialist)

    2. Therefore, you should put in as much effort as possible to do the tests well and accurately, as this will not only help the nation maximize it’s limited manpower, but also help us place you into vocations that will make good use of your abilities.

  • Please note that you would not be allowed to go through the medical examination and documentation
    without Medical Screening Questionnaire Form duly signed by your parent.

  • You are reminded to have your meal before reporting and also proper hair cut for smart card photo-taking.
    If you are bespectacled, please put on your spectacles and NOT contact lenses for medical examination.
